Accomodations

The Hans Lodge sleeps a total of 24 people with 5 bedrooms and a bunk room with 4 full beds and 4 queen beds. Accomodations in the lodge are nearly full. Please check with AIRbnb or local hotels and inns to book lodging if needed. We’re keeping a list of who’s staying where.

Attire – Updated

It’s best to plan for cool to cold weather in the Cascades of Washington. It will be Spring but we’ll be in the mountains that lag behind the rest of the
state heat-wise.

Regarding a color theme we don’t really have one per se. I will be in a lighter colored suit and Kelly has a non-traditional dress with color. That’s not a lot to go on…

Weather-wise, this is a colder Spring than normal and temperatures at Leavenworth will range from 37° – 64° from what I can tell.

Photography

Feel free to take photos, etc. We will have a plastic Holga to take a few film photos with. Ask Taya or Marcus for a quick lesson on how to use this quirky camera.

Additionally, Marcus will be shooting here and there, and will set up a white backdrop with lights at some point to take people’s portraits.

At the ceremony we will have a professional photographer, Jess Watchie, who will be active for several hours on Sunday—be prepared to gather for the usual variations of wedding photographs.

We will have an online gallery for online viewing probably a week later, and we will be posting to Facebook and Instagram.

COVID Stuff

Thankfully the pandemic is receeding and requirements are loosening. At this point, we’re going to have Covid tests at the ready for everyone to take before entering the Hans Lodge for the first time, and we may have a second set ready if needed. We’ll see how things go. Please check back for updates.

Please reach out if you have any questions, comments or specific issues including food and dietary deets.
